Caitlin Porter maintains a general insurance defence practice with experience in municipal liability, bar and tavern liability, occupier’s liability, personal injury, motor vehicle accidents and property claims. She also has experience with insurance coverage issues and subrogated claims.
Caitlin graduated from McGill University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then returned to her hometown of Toronto to complete her law degree at the University of Toronto, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 2016. While at the University of Toronto, Caitlin both volunteered and worked at Downtown Legal Services, a student and low-income legal aid clinic.
Caitlin articled with Lloyd Burns McInnis LLP and joined the firm as an associate after her call to the Ontario bar in 2017. Caitlin is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
