Caitlin Porter practices insurance defence and coverage litigation. She has experience in the areas of municipal liability, occupiers liability, professional liability, tavern liability, product liability, personal injury, construction disputes, and property claims. She also has experience in coverage issues, assisting both primary and excess insurers in relation to additional insured, commercial general liability, motor vehicle, property, and boiler and machinery disputes.

Caitlin graduated from McGill University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then returned to her hometown of Toronto to complete her law degree at the University of Toronto, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 2016.  While at the University of Toronto, Caitlin volunteered and worked at Downtown Legal Services, a student and low-income legal aid clinic, primarily in the area of landlord and tenant law.

Caitlin articled with Lloyd Burns McInnis LLP and joined the firm as an associate after her call to the Ontario bar in 2017. Caitlin is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Bar Association.
