Colleen is a Partner with Lloyd Burns McInnis LLP with a diverse litigation practice across Ontario and Nova Scotia.

Colleen regularly defends clients against a wide range of claims arising from property loss/damage, occupier’s liability, municipal liability, motor vehicle accidents, professional negligence and commercial host liability. As well, she has significant experience defending clients in first-party insurance disputes, priority and loss transfer disputes.

Colleen has successfully defended clients across various levels of court and tribunals. Her considerable experience includes jury trials in Superior Court, WSIAT hearings, LAT disputes, and appellate matters. 

She completed her Juris Doctor at Western Law. Prior to attend law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Honours degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Saint Mary’s University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Colleen has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada.
