Oliver articled with us, and he joined the firm as an associate after his call to the bar in June of 2019.
Oliver completed his law degree at Western University’s Faculty of Law. While a law student, Oliver worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Thomas Telfer, concentrating on contracts, torts, bankruptcy and legal history.
He served as VP Administration of Western’s Student Legal Society and volunteered as a case-worker at Western’s community legal clinic. He also served as the co-editor-in-chief of the Western Journal of Legal Studies, worked as a student editor of the Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence, and had his paper on civil liability in hydraulic fracturing disputes published in the Canada-United States Law Journal.
Prior to law school, Oliver completed his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Western University, and he also earned a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from Ryerson University.
