Shannon is a Partner in the area of insurance defence litigation. She has considerable experience representing clients on a diverse range of insurance matters including claims involving occupiers’ liability, municipal liability, bar and tavern liability, nursing home liability, institutional liability, sports liability, motor vehicle accidents and professional negligence. She also has experience handling property and subrogated claims.

Shannon has appeared as counsel before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, as well as the Licence Appeal Tribunal and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. Shannon has presented to her insurer clients and written on the areas of social and commercial host liability and sports liability. Shannon was recognized in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada.
