Vince practices in numerous areas of insurance defence and coverage litigation. He also has considerable experience with insurance coverage issues and disputes, regularly assisting both primary insurers (especially in relation to commercial general liability, motor vehicle, property, environmental and boiler and machinery disputes), reinsurers, and excess carriers in both the domestic and foreign markets. Vince has acted for a wide variety of insurance companies in the areas of occupiers’ liability, environmental liability, construction disputes, tavern liability, product liability, and motor vehicle accidents.

Vince has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal, and he has trial, appellate, arbitration, and mediation experience. Vince obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in 1989, majoring in political science, and graduating with High Distinction. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Toronto in 1992.

Vince has delivered speeches in the areas of tavern liability, insurance coverage disputes, and environmental liability for clients, the Advocates Society, and in the popular media.

Vince is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
